Aristos Achaion - The best of the Greeks.

Circe inspired bookmark.

Circe was a famous enchantress in Greek mythology, renowned for her vast knowledge of potions and herbs. She was the daughter of the god Helios, God of the sun, and either the Oceanid nymph Perse or the goddess Hecate.
She is known for her magic and lives on the island Aeaea.

So the story goes - Circe discovered her powers of sorcery when she turns a human fisherman into a god. When he spurns her for another nymph, Scylla, Circe transforms her rival into a horrific sea monster who becomes the sourge of all sailors.

This gold foiled bookmark shows detailed elements symbolising Circe that were a part of her story - from the potions she is creating and the crescent moon surrounding her - to the traditional Greek key design, pillars and grapes, all finished with beautiful line work and a marble printed background flecked with gold.
